And as part of this survey, I asked the important question, “What is the biggest challenge you’re facing with your automotive repair business?)

ShopController has the latest QuickBooks interface that works with version 2008. It still contains the tools to work with versions older than 2005 but the newer updates are a good choice. At this time QuickBooks is having an issue with Vista, we recommend using XP Professional when using QuickBooks.

A good percentage of our customers use the reports produced in our software for their bookkeeping needs, and then give the reports to their accountant. The most important rule for good numbers tracking is to put all of the data into the software every day and follow good daily backup habits!

Create a name for any service then add parts and labor to the service you created, The Service show up in the invoice entry screen as a dropdown list. You then select the Service that you need and with one click you have brought all of the parts and labor into the invoice.
